Glass Blowing Austin
Class Information
Austin Glass Blowing offers the following:
3 Hour Glass Blowing Experience:
- Saturday mornings from nine a.m. till noon. This class is for the curious and is limited to four students, ensuring each person has plenty of bench and furnace time. In this three hour class, students will learn the basic rules of safety, get familiar with the equipment and learn to gather hot glass.
- This is a hands-on class. At minimum, students will make a paper weight and blow an ornament. If you have a group of three or more, we can book this class around your schedule.
- As often as possible, Austin Glass Blowing brings in talented artists like guest artist and Niche Award winner, Tanner Clark and resident artist Morgan Graff to teach special class series.
Private Lessons:
- One-on-one instruction; booked by the hour. We recommend a two hour minimum and that you arrive 20 minutes early to take care of housekeeping before getting started.
Studio Rental:
- To qualify for studio rental you must attend a Saturday morning class or book a one hour private lesson. This requirement insures familiarity with the equipment and the safety rules of the shop.
Team Building Events:
- Let us customize a team building event for your group.
