3 Hour Beginning Glass Blowing – Saturdays from 9am-12pm

$150 plus tax per person

This class is for the curious and is limited to three students, ensuring each person has plenty of bench and furnace time. In this three hour class students will learn the basic rules of safety, how to get glass out of the furnace, apply color, make a paperweight, ornament, and a cup. It’s entirely hands on and a lot of fun!

If you are an individual, we can place you in a class with others. If you would like to bring a group, discounts are available for 4 or more. There is an age minimum of 14 or older. Please contact us for pricing and to check for availability.

Team Building Events

Let us customize a team building event for your group.  There is a minimum of 8 participants and a max of 20.  You have your choice of the group making one of these (pricing does not include sales tax):  ornaments $32 per person, flowers $35 per person,  pumpkins $38 per person,  cups $40 per person

During the event each person goes individually.  It takes about 10 minutes per person.  They get to choose their colors and then the instructor gets the glass out of the furnace.  Each person applies the color and then depending on what you’re making we do some of the work and you do some of the work.

Series of Classes:

Beginning Glass Blowing: Over the course of 6 weeks, meeting once a week in the evening, students will get a foundation on how to blow glass. The first three weeks are dedicated to the fundamentals. The last three weeks are all about what each student would like to focus on. The class is limited to four students in order to ensure plenty of bench time and it allows the group to learn how to work as a team.  Please contact Glass Blowing Austin for more information for dates and to sign up.  The cost is $750 per person.
